Emiri Emily Miyasaka, born in 1984 in Tokyo, Japan is Miss Universe Japan 2009! She was crowned the winner on May 11, 2009 at the Tokyo Kokusai Stadium. Being selected in the poll of 20 finalists out of 4000 Japanese women in the preliminaries, Emiri Miyasaka emerged as this years new Japanese beauty queen. Emiri will carry the Japan sash in the Miss Universe 2009 finals on August 23, in the Bahamas.
